What is Gender Equality?

Gender equality is not only a fundamental human right, but a necessary foundation for a peaceful and sustainable world.
Gender equity means fairness of treatment for women and men. This may include equal treatment in terms of rights, benefits,
obligations and opportunities.

Some targets that will help this goal

1) Eliminate all forms of violence against all women and girls in the public and private places.

This could be achieved thanks to a free application that can reach all women in the whole world and give them information about their rights, to prevent them from being afraid.

2) Increase the use of technology, in particular information and communications technology, to promote the empowerment of women.

3) Ensure women’s participation for leadership at all decisions making in political, economic and public life.
